Drop in the price list a supplier sends you and the site reads it against the catalogue, matching on SKU. You see every price and stock change before anything is updated.
This runs entirely in the browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
What this replaces
Updating a supplier's prices by hand means opening each product and typing the new figure. On a catalogue of 661 products that is a day's work, and it is the kind of job that gets put off. Reading the list straight from the file takes the typing out of it and shows you what changed before you commit.
In the full build this runs against the live catalogue, with each supplier's column names saved so their file works as it arrives.
